Steel Detailing
The steel detailers at TritonTek offer a wide range of support services by exclusively utilizing Tekla Structures exclusively to provide:
- 3D Modeling,
- Steel Detailing,
- and BIM services
The software provides electronic files for CNC machines for automated fabrication shops (beam lines, drill lines, plate processors, etc.), while the career detailers at TritonTek ensure that experienced eyes check all output from the software.
In addition, TritonTek also provides database files to be imported into management software such as Fabtrol and Fabsuite. Projects can be completed in both metric or imperial standards and all work is compliant with AISC and OSHA safety requirements.
The use of cloud computing and model sharing has created an even more dynamic work environment and TritonTek vigilantly remains on the leading edge of technology to ensure that projects are completed in the most efficient and collaborative manner possible, often times while working simultaneously in the model with engineers, other detailing offices, and the customer.

Structural Design
The structural designers at TritonTek all have degrees in Civil Engineering and have passed the civil licensure test. Each person has a firm understanding of mechanics of materials and have strong skills in communication, workflow processes and technical proficiency. This is a group of people given the opportunity to use their technical skills by problem solving and continuous learning on active projects. Tools such as CAD, Mathcad and other software programs are used daily to analyze, evaluate and help create solutions for the built environment.
With two master’s degree professors on staff, in addition to the availability of our parent companies in the USA, our structural designers have every opportunity for continued education and support for the challenging projects we have in front of us. We stay up to date with the

- technical articles
- and innovative processes that are in the industry.
